The client should provide any logo or graphics in an acceptable digital format with text and special instructions for layout by email. Ad artwork created by the magazine remains the property of the magazine unless otherwise agreed.

The client will receive the ad for review, and changes can be suggested. If the client does not respond, or does not check that all information is correct, the magazine is not liable for errors in print.

The Nanaimo and Voyager Magazines are TWO MAGAZINES in one. We print over 15,000 copies per month in COLOUR with the option of black and white.

Our core Magazine, The Voyager, is 40 pages long, with 8 extra pages covering it to make the Nanaimo Magazine, making it 48 pages in size.

We distribute to homes of subscribers of a prominent Nanaimo newspaper, and businesses in Nanaimo and 2000 businesses Island-wide via post. We direct deliver every Nanaimo realtor and rack 5000 copies on BC Ferries, at Chapters, the airport, waterfront and local shopping and medical centres. It is available at every Serious Coffee and library on the Island. We greet cruise ship passengers and service sea plane waiting rooms.

Our Island distribution includes direct post and personal deliveries to businesses in Victoria, Duncan, Ladysmith, Parksville, Qualicum, Courtenay, Comox, Campbell River, and far afield as the West Coast of the Island. We have an online magazine which is read locally, nationally and internationally. Each advertisement is hyperlinked to the advertiser's website.

Ad changes and bookings must be in by the 15th of each month. If you cannot meet this deadline, please contact us to see if alternate arrangements can be made.

• Full bleed is permitted
• Printed on high-speed, cold-set web.
• Screen is 100 lines per inch.
• Pre-press on Macintosh platform

• Illustrator (save as 8.0) or other .eps files, with fonts saved as outlines/curves.
• Quark 3.32 with fonts.
• Press-optimized PDF's with all fonts embedded.
• JPEG or TIFF files may not appear as you wish with loss of definition and 'fuzzy' fonts.
• If you provide image files, ensure they are 200 dpi at the final size to be used.
• Artwork files submitted in Publisher or Word incur one-time full prep charges.

We accept cheques as well as Visa, Mastercard and American Express payments. No cash please.
