Island Bel Canto Singers 15th Anniversary "Celebration of Song"

One of Nanaimo's best known women's choirs, marks its 15th anniversary season with this retrospective concert, featuring many of the choir's favorite songs drawn from fifteen years of acclaimed choral performances. The concert program will spotlight two exceptional youth ensembles, the Sinclair Singers and the Patrick Courtin Jazz Trio.

Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra

TSYO is a high-level orchestral training programme for talented musicians aged 22 and under and ranks as one of the top youth orchestras in North America. Repertoire will include Tchaikovsky's Capriccio Italien, and Hindemith's Symphonic Metamorphosis of Themes by Carl Maria von Weber amongst other works.

Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life gives the opportunity to celebrate cancer survivors, remember and honour loved ones lost to cancer and fight back against all cancers. a 12 hour, overnight, non competitive relay, teams raise money before and at Relay. Live bands, food, games, and activities! If you can't stay up all night, come back and join us for our "fight back" ceremony and a pancake breakfast.
